The Finav Fire Management System helps firefighters facilitate the navigation of buildings efficiently, during a fire, especially in low visibility situations. By extending capabilities of human vision, and navigation we will increase their efficiency while giving them peace of mind in these extraordinary situations.
The challenge
On an average day, firefighters are faced with intense and extreme conditions that can put their lives at risk. They need to be able to respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies, and the equipment and technology they use plays a critical role in their ability to do so. With this in mind, we set out to design a high-tech solution that would improve the day-to-day lives of firefighters and help them to work more efficiently.
Our solution aims to enhance the way firefighters work by providing them with advanced tools and technology that will help them to better navigate and respond to emergencies. This includes things like improved communication systems, enhanced navigation tools, and the use of building structure databases to help to detect and fight fires more effectively. Additionally, we aim to improve the safety and wellbeing of firefighters by designing equipment that is more durable, lightweight, and easy to use, even in the most challenging conditions.
