The challenge

How might we use an idea to create a big impact In the coming 5G-centered world within the medical field?

image

Approach

By creating a direct link from emergency operators to paramedics to the ER, Sol is able to streamline the process of receiving emergency assistance. Saving time those crucial moments where minutes can mean the difference between life and death.

"The average waiting time was 7 minutes in urban setting, 7.7 minutes in suburban areas, and 14.5 minutes in rural areas."

– Reuters Health

Outcome

Our solution changes in how the ambulance and hospital receive information and how ambulances travel from their station to the medical center. We also opened opportunities for communications directly between doctors and EMTs in transit to optimize patient care.

  • Establishes a log from the moment a 911 call is initiated, using AI to fill out patient reports.
  • Gives paramedics a clear map to their patients
  • Allows for hands free two way video chat with the trauma surgeon allowing for remote diagnosis and treatment
  • Seamless handoff of patent records giving insights to all medical staff throughout emergency assistance
